Diddlley bow One string guitar Matteacci's brush
Hello friends, this idea of mine that I propose to you is an original single-string Diddley bow that I made with a paintbrush.
It mounts an acoustic string and can be tuned to many keys.
It is amplified with a powerful and sensitive piezoelectric pick-up of the round under-saddle type.
The dimensions are length 85 cm.
The coloring has an antique effect and being handmade it may be slightly different from the photos.
It has a distinctive delta blues sound and can be plugged into any guitar amplifier.

The diddley bow is a string instrument of African origin that became popular in the early decades of the 20th century.
It is thought to have its origins in some traditional instruments from the Ghanaian coast of West Africa.
It had its popularity mainly in the southern United States and among the other names by which it was called we find the "jitterbug" the "one-string" while an ethnomusicologist might formally define it as a "zither".
