It features an acoustic string and can be tuned in many keys.
It's acoustic, it doesn't have any pickups but it has good volume.
It's ideal to always carry with you, it fits comfortably in a bag and you can play it wherever you want.

The diddley bow is a stringed instrument of African origin that became popular in the first decades of the 20th century.
It is thought to have its origins in some traditional instruments from the Ghanaian coast of West Africa.
It had its popularity mainly in the southern United States and among the other names by which it was called we find the "jitterbug", the "one-string" while an ethnomusicologist could formally define it as a "zither
monochord".
